Fxxx = a fuse. Xxxx = an intermediate connector. Wxxx = a ground location. Zxxx = a solder point in the wiring harness. Note that xxx does not need to be three characters long, it can be shorter, longer, have slashes or dashes, etc. Standard circuits are e.g. 30: unswitched battery. 31: ground. 15: switched battery.

It seems to be an intermittent problem that doesn’t necessarily happen when it rains. The water is causing damp to the carpet in the bottom of the foot well on the door side of the car.

Teminal #3 is the one I was talking about. It does not have 12 volts on it. (0 volts). The fuse is a 50 amp fuse (not 2 - 30 amp ones) on this car. I checked the fuse and it is good. I checked both ends of the fuse socket. One shows continuity to pin 3 on the fan controler and the other end of the fuse socket doesn't have any voltage on it.

Fuse 7 is ok, there is power to the control knob, hydraulic oil level ok, even replaced the N10-3 with a used spare hopefully a functioning - opened and checked and "looks" ok. from the trouble shooting diagram two items I still have to check vario's roof switch S84 and terminal 15 Is this on N10-3 or on the fuse box? 1. There are differences between the SLK320 and 230 fuse boxes (for understandable reasons) 2. There is more data on fuses for the 230 than 320 (again, understandable due to population) 3. kieran_sly. A Fuse chart can be found inside the corresponding fuse box cover. Most likely be in the engine compartment as this is where fuses are contained for interior consumers. thanks for the response - I am such an idiot - I didnt know there was ANOTHER fuse box under the bonnet (hood)
8172 posts · Joined 2010. #2 · Sep 27, 2018. Did anything spill into the center console? Quick try: disconnect the battery; disconnect the CCM (aka MFCU, in the black box under the hood near the battery); reconnect the battery; and try again. If the fuse holds, you have a faulty CCM.
Central locking does not work, nor the rear demist, nor the dome light on opening the doors, nor the light in the boot (trunk). Key fob appears OK as the indicator lights flash. Reading various posts it all points to the PSE. However re-connecting it seems to make no difference to any of the symptoms.
