Top Signs of Water Pump Failure. Leaking Coolant: One of the most common causes of water pump failure is corrosion of the seal between the pump and the engine block. When this type of water pump failure occurs, coolant may leak out of the space around the seal. Because the water pump is located under the hood, this may cause puddles of coolant Newer BMW vehicles, starting from E90 335i, have engines with high-pressure fuel injection. This is a delicate system that can be damaged by low-quality fuel. High-pressure fuel pumps and injectors are the usual failure points. Symptoms include engine hard starting with long cranking, rough idle, and a yellow 1/2 ‘check engine light. Does your E90 have IBS? Do you need to register/code a new battery? As I explained in the video, I was 100% sure I needed to register my new battery on my BMW Banner are a BMW OEM supplier. Then I had the battery registered at a BMW specialist. Here's the issue - Before I had my batt replaced, my voltage reading was a consistent 13.5 - 13.6V under all conditions. After the battery swap, it's been reading between 11.8V - 12.5V, even at higher rpms. Only occasionally it will go up to 13.5V.
Location: Williamsburg. iTrader: ( 2) Battery drain issue 2007 E90/335i Sedan. Greetings, Less than 6-7 months ago I change my battery at a BMW dealership. They performed the battery reset in accordance with BMW instructions. Now, just two days ago I wash and wax my car left it in the garage for two days and this morning the battery didnt have
Sometimes the ground connectors get rusted. Remove and clean them or just measure the impedance of the connection or the ground voltage at the DME. Once this is all done, check all the connectors on the DME for rust, coolant or oil. Sometimes the wiring harness sucks up coolant or oil (in case of a leak) up to the DME.

If it's a rumble, it could be the CV joint, the support bearing for the driveshaft or a u-joint on the driveshaft. I'm currently trying to figure out a
Car is a 2007 328xi with 50k miles. This is a problem for someone who's really smart with engine electrics. Ever since I bought it (used), it has been giving a camshaft position sensor exhaust side code (p0369). One symptom of crankshaft sensor failure is not charging the battery when car is running. (hope somebody can explain the reason for it) And in depth of code reading revealed that on 2 ocassions my battery voltage dropped down to 10.6 volt. Awaiting sensor delivery. _____ An external battery tester (Midtronics EXP-1000) must be used to determine if the battery needs to be replaced. Energy Diagnosis will not prompt for a battery replacement unless the battery is “aged.” When energy diagnosis identifies the battery as “aged,” it means the amount of energy discharge over the course of the life of the battery
The B+ battery cable which runs from the passenger fuse box all the way to the battery in the boot has a moulded connector which can become faulty causing intermittent power loss and arching. BMW are aware of this and have issued the following documentation: - BMW SI B61 08 11 View attachment BMW SI B61 08 11.pdf - BMW B61 08 11 Attachment
Sockets are "Live" on one side as both are UN-switched battery power (KL30) as indicated by the small "30" over each fuse symbol on the SSP. If symptoms persist, I would disconnect X11010 at the top-left of JB (Junction Box) Fuse Panel, and carefully inspect pin & Socket related to Pin #6, Green Wire, as that is KL15 Activation wire from CAS
They seem to last about 3-4 years these days When buying a new one make sure it's coded to your car. Failure to code it to your car will result in the battery being overcharged dramatically reducing it's life expectancy. I need a new battery too. Keeps getting those annoying low batt warnings.

Meaning one of the dead CA handles in the rear was the culprit. Two solutions to fix the drain in my instance: 1) Troubleshoot further and find out if it's the left or right handle by leaving only the left or the right side connected over night. End result, either way, would be replacing both handles.
Apr 29, 2014. #2. Check Engine bay on the RHS (Drivers) Next to the battery charge point, there is a smallish wire (pinky sized) that runs across the engine bay into the DME box in the top left. Check for power on that wire using a multi meter. If there is no power, in the boot, on top of the battery, there is a set of inline fuses, find the

One of the first symptoms of a weak battery is that the comfort access don't work properly anymore. Either you need a few tries or it doesn't react at all. Also if the engine need 1-2 seconds more to start up, your battery probably causing the problem. And yep it is terrible what they are asking for a battery reprogramming.. .
